NWSC intends to develop a bulk water supply from River Nile for domestic use in Adjumani District and to establish sanitation facilities in different areas of Adjumani including a Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant and Latrines under the Integrated Water Management and Development Project (IWMDP). JBN was contracted to carry out an ESIAs (for water supply and sanitation) and RAP to ensure that any adverse environmental or socio-economic impacts arising from proposed project development activities are anticipated and mitigated.
